The First & Last Starbucks in England? Berwick Opens
We are delighted to announce the opening of our latest, and most northern store, in Berwick-upon-Tweed this morning. The building is a beautifully thought out conversion of what was The Meadow House Inn which was labelled as the first and last pub in England as it is situated within a mile of the Scottish border. So it's reasonably safe to say our new store in the first and last Starbucks in England!
This wonderful design is thanks to Sonal Vishram and Ray Morgan at Starbucks and the store has been fitted out superbly by JSP Building Services Ltd under the watchful eye of Chris Armstrong. A huge thank you to all of you!
The project for this store was overseen by our own Gary Taylor and Gemma Barrett with support from Jack Williamson. Well done team, you've opened another beauty! Thank you!
