Eight years ago we opened our very first Starbucks Drive Thru store at the Houndmills Roundabout in Basingstoke and from day one it was a success. Since then it has consistently been one of our highest volume stores.

Today marks the beginning of the next chapter in the story of Basingstoke Houndmills as it reopens after a complete refurbishment where we have not only updated the look and feel of the store but we have also remodelled the operational engine installing four Mastrena 2 espresso machines to support the growing business.

Beautifully designed by Beverley Moyes with Ray Morgan the design manager on this project. I am sure you will agree with me that the looks fantastic - modern and vibrant.

The fit out was carried out - not without its challenges - by JSP Building Services Ltd with Danny Munson holding the reins. The whole project was overseen, as ever, by Ashley Cooper along with our store openings manager Gemma Barrett
